Privacy policy and website terms

Who this covers

Divine Naturopathics (ABN 67 543 009 611) is the practice of Imaad Karim, a sole trader, naturopath and Hijama therapist, consulting at Bankstown, Lakemba and South Wentworthville. This page explains what personal information I collect, why, and what happens to it. Health information is sensitive, and I treat it that way.

What I collect

When you book: your name, contact details and the appointment you booked.

In a consultation: your health history, symptoms, medications and supplements, test results you bring, and my clinical notes. This is health information.

When you get in touch: whatever you send me by phone, text, email or Instagram message.

If you sign up to the newsletter: your first name and email address. The form opens your own email app and sends them to me; nothing is stored by this website.

Why I collect it

To provide your care, arrange and remind you about appointments, keep the clinical records a practitioner is required to keep, reply to you, and send the newsletter if you asked for it. I do not use it for anything else.

Who else sees it

Online bookings go through the clinic’s booking system, which is run by a third party under its own privacy policy.

I do not sell your information or share it for marketing. I share clinical information with another practitioner, such as your GP, only with your consent, or where the law requires it.

How it is kept

Records are kept securely and only for as long as I need them or the law requires for health records. You can ask to see the information I hold about you, or to correct it, by emailing info@divinenaturopathics.com.au.

This website

The site shows maps from Google Maps, videos from YouTube and recent posts from Instagram. Those services may set their own cookies when their content loads, under their own privacy policies.

I use Google Analytics to count visits to this site: which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and whether the call, booking or contact buttons are used. It sets cookies to do this. It does not tell me who you are, and nothing you enter in a form or share in a consultation goes to Google. You can block it with your browser’s privacy settings or Google’s opt-out add-on.

Links to other websites are provided for convenience. I am not responsible for their content.

Website terms

Everything on this site is general information. It is not a diagnosis and not a substitute for advice from your own doctor. Naturopathy and Hijama work alongside medical care, not in place of it.

Booking and cancellation terms are set out on the bookings page. The text and photographs on this site belong to Divine Naturopathics; please ask before reusing them.
